Cheryl is an accomplished financial professional with over 15 years of experience in accounting, financial management, human resources, auditing, and operational oversight. As the Finance Director, she oversees financial reporting, budgeting, accounting operations, and human resources ensuring the organization's financial health and strategic goals are achieved.

Cheryl has a proven track record of streamlining accounting processes, reducing operational costs, and implementing new financial systems. She excels at financial analysis, workflow automation, and organizational development which have led to improved fiscal outcomes and enhanced financial transparency.

Prior to joining WIQ, Cheryl held roles such as audit manager and controller in the healthcare, manufacturing, and legal industries, where she managed large teams with high transaction volumes and data exchange, implemented ERP, HRIS and other financial systems along with continual enhancements, and provided oversight of multimillion dollar budgets.

Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Kent State University and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from The University of Toledo.  She brings a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, audit, internal controls, and information systems to WIQ.

Cheryl is also a certified massage therapist and brings a unique understanding of wellness and balance to both personal and professional life.

Off the Clock

Off the clock, Cheryl loves exploring new destinations, getting lost in a good book, and enjoying peaceful walks to unwind and stay active. With visits to 14 different countries, Cheryl enjoys immersing herself in new cultures and exploring the beauty of the world. These experiences provide a perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and reflection.

Above all, Cheryl’s favorite role is being an aunt, cherishing family time and the happiness that family brings.

Fun Fact/Unique Skill:

Cheryl was the head majorette in the high school marching band for both junior and senior years, showcasing leadership and creativity even at an early age.
